Tariffs of the Free Zone

 

1. Fees on Occupancy of Yards and Warehouses

The Administration of the Port of Tripoli charges annual fees on occupancy of Warehouses and Yards according to the following schedule:

  • Every tenant occupying a property in the Free Zone is required to present insurance policies that cover possible dangers toward others and for all goods stored by the tenant.

2. Fees on Goods

2.1 Transit Fees

 Goods that exit the public or private warehouses and yards of the Free Zone for the purpose of Transit are subject to the following fees:

  • General goods and goods within containers that are withdrawn from the Free Zone for local consumption are subject to the same fees of the port outside the Free Zone.
  • Empty containers or containers that just got emptied are subject to the same fees of the port outside the Free Zone.
  • Cars and vehicles withdrawn from the Free Zone for Transit purpose are subject to the same fees of the port outside the Free Zone.
  • Allowances for hired labor and workers outside the regular working hours, electric power and water consumption, rental of equipment for other than porterage inside the free zone, are the same allowances of the Port outside the free zone.
